You started because you had a vision, something you knew you were supposed to build. Then the dream outgrew what you could do alone. The systems started springing leaks. The marketing landed with a thud. And you looked up one day to realize the team this clearly needed was just you and a very tired laptop.
That gap, between the dream and what you can execute by yourself, is where I live.
I'm Chelsea, and Visible Local is mine. I build the part of a business that turns a good idea into money. The strategy, the marketing, the website, the back-end systems, the software. Not advice about the fix. The fix.
How I got here.
I have spent most of my life walking into broken things and repairing them. I started as a paramedic, which is where I learned to stay calm in the middle of someone else's worst day and just find the next right move. Later I ran the front door at a church, where I took a volunteer team that had collapsed from 140 people down to 45 and rebuilt it past where it started, running at a 97% serve rate. Nobody ever handed me a playbook. I looked at where things were leaking and closed the gaps, one at a time, until the whole thing worked again.
When I moved into business, I realized I had been doing this the entire time. The setting changed. The instinct did not. I am a builder and a fixer by nature, and I cannot walk past something that clearly needs a team and is being carried by one tired person.
What makes this different.
Most people who say they will fix your revenue hand you a slide deck and a bill. I do the other part too. I find the one question nobody ever thought to ask you, which is usually just how is this actually going to make money, and then I go build the thing that answers it.
And a lot of the time, that answer is simpler than you would expect. There is nothing new under the sun. Some weeks the whole game is just going back to the people who already love you, telling them what is new, and giving them a clear way to buy. You do not need world domination to win. You need the machine that turns what you already have into money.

13 days from empty.
An organization I care about was 13 days from running out of cash when they brought me in. They were certain their model was perfect and they just needed better marketing. They were, lovingly, wrong. How I work.
Small, on purpose. Visible Local is me and a very short list of people I trust, not a forty-name agency running you off a spreadsheet nobody can keep straight. When you hire me, you get me, actually inside your business, not managing you from a distance. I take a few clients at a time because that is the only way the work stays this good.
